Exhibition with my friends

I went to the Nanjing Museum with my friend---Kassie on March 1st. On that day, we just finished the GCA Double Mixed Babminton Match and then we went to there. The cold weather made us walk slowly, and we arrived there very late at about 3p.m The museum was located in Zhong Shanmen Road. When we reached there, the museum was already full of people. There were lots of travelers because this exhibition was free. There was a huge red blanket in front of the building. We stood on it and took some photos. We chose to visit this museum because my classmates told me this exhibition was very interesting and it would be a worth traveling.
When we went into the museum, I felt very surprised since there were five different halls to show us. There were a lot of delicate antiques in the museum. The five different halls were called "Ancient Bronze Exhibition”, “Ancient Chinese Jade Exhibition”, “Fabric And Embroldery Hall Exhibition” ,” Ancient Chinese Earthen Ware Exhibition" and “"Ming and Qing Porcelain Exhibition".
We went to different exhibition halls, and I learned a lot of new knowledge about Chinese history. First, we went to the "Ancient Bronze Exhibition". In this hall, I saw some bronze-made crafts that were used by the ancients. After I read the introduction, I knew bronze production was an important mark for the initiation of civilization. I also learned our hometown bronze production occupied a special place in Chinese bronze culture. Through the information, I felt all bronze productions were full of the intelligence and ingeniousness of the people. Second, we went to "Ancient Chinese Jade Exhibition". I saw a lot of beautiful things, likes bowls, goblets vases and jade clothing.etc. People all over the globe knew that jade were the most important thing in China. It is still shining brilliantly, I saw a lot of different shapes of jade there such as bottle, person (child), flying dragons. When we saw those jades, we were informed that old Chinese people had advanced technology in the past. I love those "magic" jade.
Third, we went to "Fabric and Embroidery Hall Exhibition". When I arrived in this hall, I saw a big imperial robe sewing made by Fabric. I thought it was very beautiful. Different people must dress different types of clothing. The majesty would dress the most beautiful fabric. I can't believe it was made by people. I also saw big equipment for making cloud brocade. Cloud brocade was a famous thing in Nanjing. Then, we went to "Ancient Chinese Earthen Ware Exhibition". From the tour guide’s introduction, I knew earthen wares were made of baked earth are the earliest hard-made products invented by human beings. I also learned that different periods of time had different kinds of earthen wares, and could be used in different place. People could use them as containers, or make their places look more beautiful colorful. I thought it was considered as both a record of social life history as well as art history. At last, we went to "Ming and Qing Porcelain". I thought a lot of foreigners like porcelains because were colorful and had high values. When I saw those porcelain. I felt those crafts a super collection and a feast for the eyes.
My favorites art work is in the "Ming and Qing Porcelain". It was called "Zun with shou" characters in under glaze Blue". It was made in A.D 1662-1722, during Kang Xi reign. This art work looked like vast. On the surface of the porcelain, there were 100"shou" words but the words had different forms of hand writing. The word "shou" (Chinese word) in Chinese meant a long lifespan so I like this word. Also, in my opinion, I thought this art work was very exquisite since the 100 words could arrange in order and there also have some bigger words on the top and bottom of art work. I could look each small word clearly. I thought the colors of the art work, white and blue were really nice. I like putting blue and white together. At that time, I thought if I have money, I must buy it as a present for my father birthday. I thought old people were very intelligent because they could make this elegant art work. Also all the managers had the good sense of responsibility to keep this art work carefully. I love this art work. I thought it was the best art work in the museum. Porcelain was the art treasure for careful differentiation appreciation.
I lost my self in those exhibits for a lot of time until my friends told me the museum would be closed. Then, we left happily. We arrived at home at 5p.m. Overall, I learned a lot today. I knew the ancient Chinese people were really smart. I also knew a lot of history and information about those exhibits. This traveling not only made us have a lot of fun but also taught us valuable information.
